Hooray for all the bodies.
postapocalyptus:

Of the things my body has taught me, one of the most revolutionary ideas has been to readjust my perception about the way I saw my body, shifting my own thoughts on normalcy, understanding that labeling bodies as “divergent” reinforces the concept that there exists a collectively understood standard. There is no standard, there is no normative form. Just bodies, and that’s that.

Hooray for all the bodies.

this is just a nice David Lynch interview

It’s on this music blog legitimately: for lo, the director is making him an album using his very own music studio. Must be nice. Seriously, though, he seems really present in this Stereogum.com interview. He calls the interviewer by his first name (old gladhanding trick my gramps taught my ma taught me) and seems to really consider the topics for discussion. Let’s play good neighbor/bad neighbor. David Lynch? Might be a good neighbor! Click the title of this post to read what the hell I’m talking about.

I like Portishead. Some nice natural rhythm & poetry in the opening spoken word clip. There are a few tunes I recognize in this mix, & many I do not. Let’s learn some music together!
