Booker T and everybody awesome →
So, Booker T. Jones has a new album coming out, with The Roots backing him up. On it, Sharon Jones sings a song with Matt Berninger from The National, which you can listen to by clicking on the title of this post. At that link, from Pitchfork, you can also see a vid of Booker T. and Roots covering a Lauryn Hill tune. Ow, the concentrated awesomeness. My head!

The National plus John Slattery plus Kristen... →
The National is one of The Best bands. John Slattery of Mad Men is one of my salt-and-pepper crushes. Kristen Schaal (the superfan from Flight of the Concords) is fun and funny. So, ergo, time to click on the title of this post to watch a video featuring all three.
